Is it possible to take 3 weeks off in the summer when you are a fairly new employee (4 months) and the leave year runs from april to march. Could an employer give it to you off even if you dont take paid leave. I basically just want these three weeks off, paid or unpaid.

Some employers don't mind playing fast and free with the annual leave year. They will allow you to take holidays you haven't accrued, or allow you to carry holidays forward.

You have no actual entitlement to this arrangement: it's up to the employer to decide what days to let you off and some employers wouldn't even give 3 weeks in a row regardless of how much leave you're owed. You don't have an entitlement to unpaid leave either so it's up to the employer.
