    Hi, I just wanted to praise some customer service by EI. Was due to fly to Hamburg today, but due to Industrial action there, they had to cancel. They informed me yesterday, and were able to change me to a flight to Dusseldorf tonight as the alternative to Berlin or travelling a day later didnt suit. It took a total of 3 minutes on the phone to sort it all out, with the minimum of fuss. Its often you hear only stories of bad service, so I just wanted to praise them on a job well done. :)

    I'd second that OP.

    I had to make a mad dash for an EI flight from Cork to Schipol on Tuesday. I arrived with minutes to spare, thanks to a member of ground staff who contacted the flight-deck & then ran me from check-in to my seat.

    Had I being flying Ryanair, there's simply no way I'd have made that flight.
