Does the property tax apply to residencies only?

    Or could small segments of unused waste land be liable also?

    I'm not looking for advice,just a yes or no.

    Yes, residential property only. Commercial (including farm) property attracts rates (about taxed at about 1-2% of property value). Derelict properties can be put on the derelict properties register (taxed about 1-10% tax).

    If it isn't on the register, don't know how it would be dealt with. Tidy it up and keep it off the register.
