    good afternoon,

Just a quick question on vrt, I'm buying a 88 316 BMW off a mate of mine who lives in England, the car isn't driving and needs a bit of work done to it before it'll be on the road again. How do they calculate the VRT on it? Is it on the value they put on it regardless on what I pay for it? also is it possible to get it towed to the VRT place for an inspection? I'm keen to get the Irish plates on it asap. Are there specific english docs I need when I go to the VRT office?

    thanks in advance
