    Hi
I use 2 x Selfsat 2400 receivers in my house.
Each is connected to its own Satelite dishes.
One of the dishes is a "black mesh" type ( sorry cant describe it better) & the other is a Solid Tin (Lidl) type.

My question is - why does one system display fewer channels than the other.
I have reset the boxes several times.
I have taken the settings from the missing channels and put them manually into the other box but no luck.

    Any suggestions please ?
    Thank you

why do you need 2 dishes .one of your dishes may not be aligned properly ,Did you swap around boxs to see if you could get more channels on a different dish.If you get a twin or quad Lnb for one of your dishes you can get rid of the second one.

+1 but also perhaps one of the boxes is older/newer that the otehr with different firmware that had more TPs in the list. If they are the exact same firmwares, alignment is probably the issue as above

    Hi
    Thanks for the info,
I did swap around the boxes and there was no difference.

There was only one cable connection on the first Sat Dish and I didn't want to mess with that as it was put in by a professional ( not me) - this one has all the extra channels too.

    thanks

I think your best bet is to fit a new twin or Quad LNB to your dish .If you get the one that suits your dish you will have no problem fitting it .

Have you tried properly aligning the second dish?

"Perforated". ("Mesh" describes a criss-cross of wires.)

Solid steel (or aluminium?) Solid tin would cost a small fortune.

Wrong type of coaxial cable or (as stated above) dish not correctly aligned or LNB not correctly adjusted for focus/skew or distorted dish (Lidl dishes are also known as "floppy dishes" because the metal is thin).
