    Howd ya get on ?

Failed :( wasn't really my fault but don't matter, he didn't bring me down the link, i seen a few people before hand go down towards Wilton round about but he brought me past the funeral home and left and its one road into Togher more or less,

my questions were all simple, ones everyone would know,

here is a privet message i got off a member, might help you, its one of few routes,

""She brought me left down to the sarsfield roundabout, right off the roundabout onto the south link, up the togher slip road and right at the roundabout at the end, down past csn and the first left after it, brought me the first right into a row of houses for the turnabout then pulled me in on the same street just before the main road for the hand signals. Then right into a load of estates the whole way (done the reverse in one of them) and eventually over to that roundabout by the flyover ( the one that has the chemist on it and you can see the bingo hall beside it) Straight over the roundabout, over the flyover and then the home run through Togher and up the hill and right back onto the sarsfield road back to the test centre. She pulled me in just before the top of the hill to do the hillstart.""

    best of luck man :)

Cheers for the info-youll get it the next time .This is my second time going.Last week I parked outside test centre and followed a few tests myself to see where they were going :p

Most head towards Wilton up towards the hospital roundabout and turn right down towards glasheen then disappear into estates for the turns etc.

    http://www.rsa.ie/en/RSA/Learner-Drivers/The-Driving-Test/Driving-Test-Centre/Pass-Rates

Just under average. 52%. Average 56%. Wish Ennis, Sligo or Tralee were nearer to me ,70% wow.

Is there only one test centre in cork?

    +@ Lemmy Scott:

Just to clarify the RSA lists pass rates. Which has Portlaoise and some of the Dublin test centre as the hardest to pass in.

There are four test centres in County Cork, two around the City.

They messaged me this morning saying they have open slots next week, in the message they asked me to contact a certain number, but they wouldn't answer, so i just rang rsa and they got me a slot next week :) not bad

No they don't do car tests in Ballincollig.
In a city with a big enough population having only 1 test centre is a joke.Wilton would be a hard one to pass due to all the hills rounabouts all over the place,Dublin which I passed on is easier with it being flat everywhere.

Fair point that Cork should have more test centres. There is a big population. I can only assume that the two other centre draw applicants in surrounding towns away from the city. Dublin with its bigger population, but smaller size has four as well. but they all deal with cars.
Wilton does have a high enough pass rate, 53%, by comparision. More factors to consider then hills.
