Be careful, they're 340g which are not the full size ones!!

Full size ones half price at homestore

    http://www.homestoreandmore.ie/12-price-yankee-candles/icat/can12pri/

They are even cheaper in store, they have a good selection at 9.99, a much better deal.

It all depends on the scents you like. I personally wouldn't buy a large jar just because it was cheaper if I didn't like the scent. The 5 in Homestore & More are not my cup of tea at all.

Looking forward to trying the new fusion types though.

Where are they located....the actual bricks and mortar stores? Any in Dublin?

According to Yankee they are about 10% lighter than the regular medium jars due to the manufacturing process but are the same size jar. Burn time is 50-70 hours.

    + Blanch SC, D15.

The centre also houses a Yankee Candle shop, just past the Perm TSB branch on the lower level.

Near the entrance. Not really in the carrickmines complex. You should see it on your left on the way in.

I've been buying Yankee candles for a good while now and decided to pick up a few on Grafton street for the reduced price of 13.99. While I've not had any issues with cheaper ones before the scent off these three large candles is most definitely weaker than usual while they are burning. Something to be careful of and quite possibly explains the new discount price. Bit of a switcheroo.

And they don't burn very well. Wick was gone with about 1/4 of the wax left

The reason they are cheaper is not because of their fragrance being weak, some candles are simply stronger than orhers. I work in a Yankee candle shop and there are some candles that I cannot smell at all, I have even tried the tarts at home to try smell them. Yankee candle have promotions going all the time with different fragrances on sale each month I would be surprised if they went to the effort of reducing the strength of the frangrance for the month it's on sale.
Also the promotions on in homestore and the different Yankee shops are very different. Homestore buys in such huge quantities that they can bring down the prices on candles however their range is nowhere near as big as the Yankee shops, which have the full ranges from tarts to tumblers available and accessories too.
