Noticed the paint starting to peel off one of the alloys. Already had this alloy repainted previously. Anyone recommend somewhere in Galway city to sandblast and repaint?

im not recommending them but Sasha Motors do alloy refurbs. The reason im not recommending them is thatI used to have a Pajero Sport, and was planning on getting the alloys refurbed and getting a service. I rang ahead and asked about the "special" they had on at the time (€30 refurb per wheel). Was told ya no bother booked in for service and alloys to be refurbed. Had to leave the jeep there half the bloody day.

Anyway i arrive back and the Jeep is serviced, but the alloys werent done. First they said they were too badly damaged, then another guy said, "look at the size of them, we couldnt do them for €30"

So they got the service out of me with their special, then didnt deliver the special

    I never went back

I wouldn't let Sasha near my car.

Autoxmoto guys seem ok though even if they quoted me €600 to paint 4 fog surrounds and 2 grills black :p

Thought about powdercoating i know a good crowd in liosbawn that powdercoat+refurb would be around same price

    Regards sasha... *ahem*

For a proper refurb job tbh there's 1-2 places in the country that will do them right. Wheel Wizards in Dublin is one that springs to mind. Otherwise you're talking about sending them over to the UK.

Well these are the guys im gonna be using, they do alot of motorsport stuff. Tallagh powdercoating wasn't an option due to distance/courrier cost

Called into them and they seem professional and genuinely interested in cars/motorsport

Any chance of some before and after pics when they're done? Thinking of getting mine done too.

Going to go with the guys at Autoexmoto so will be dropping the alloys in next week. Now to decide on the colour, may just stick with the plain silver.

Search the forum for Lepsoms in the UK. That's who I'll be using.
