Hubbie had croke park hours until 7pm tonight, came home with news that s&s will not be paid in Feb but at the end of March. Principal told them that in meeting. Is the Govt backing out already of S&S?
Also was talking to my father in law who is now retired from teaching- 73yrs old now- he used to do a 30 hour teaching week years ago !

Supposed to be one off last payment in March then scrapped. After that as part of Croke park talks they are saying teachers will all do one extra hour a week without pay covering s and s. This was stated a tui meeting last night

Scrapped after march they said ? What about the hours worked between Xmas and march ? What about the rest if the school year ? The current croke park deal runs till end of 2013 so anything agreed in this new deal will not affect this school year I'd imagine .
