Call the irish insurance federation and your local broker. Both could give you specific examples of current policies offered by the market.

I figure regardless of how the insurance is packaged, they would need cover for:

    Public liability
    Employers liability
    Road risks
Building, contents and stock cover against loss or damage

Additionally they would need an Indemnity policy to cover against loss or injury to the customer arising out of defective vehicles or workshop errors etc.

These may be all bundled into a specific product by the various companies but I figure that is most of the cover a garage would need.

when getting cover the insurance company usually puts a package together covering nearly everything.
Public liability from what I remember was the biggest part of my premium

Public Liability would be correct but would need to cover products if servicing a vehicle.

It's basically different levels of a motors traders policy IIRC.

The variables are bigger than I want to try and remember though tbh.

Top tip here lad - don't spell college as collage. It'll kinda cast doubt over a few whole years of your life.
Collage is an art form usually practiced by primary school children, or a search word used in donedeal for comedy value

"N.C.T is just out by 1week I can't afford too run it no more over collage..Great car too go and is pure smooth on the road.."
