    Hi,
Live in a timber Frame house,Gas heating recently while up stairs I could hear a dripping noise under the floors of the bedrooms
when the heating is on. Appears to be all the rooms surely this cannot be a leak under all the rooms ? Will be calling a plumber but would Like an idea of what i may be dealing with.
    Thanks.

It's probably the pipes expanding against timber under the floor

Most likely just expansion of the pipework. Pipe might be too tight against a joist or tight against another pipe. Or a hole or notch which a pipe is passing through isnt large enough.

No none at all have the boiler Serviced by registered tech. Last thing done was an insert stove 2 years ago but no pipe work done. It is only used to heat the room . I did have Air in heating System Last year after taking off a Rad but bled it out. Could this have caused a Problem ?
