is there any chance of some help?

am trying to find eye tracking software that is easily installable in linux.

one of them that have found, called open gazer:
    http://www.inference.phy.cam.ac.uk/opengazer/
    http://sourceforge.net/projects/opengazer/
it works with dasher, which have already managed to install via matriuxes repository.
-am wanting to use either a equivilent eye tracker program- or- dasher combined with open gazer so that the built in webcam allows typing/control using eye tracking.

the problem with open gazer is that it needs to be compiled from source, am learning [intelectualy] disabled and it doesnt matter how many times have read how tos on this but am not able to understand or follow the complex information required to build from source.
if happen to know of a alternative woud welcome ideas to.

am wondering if some kind fellow woud help; either by compiling opengazer or talking through the whole process in a simple/easy way.
woud be incredibly apreciative and greatful of anyones help!
though please dont say go back to windows; have been told that before by unhelpful people on other forums and the funny thing is have been using linux for years longer than them.
    cheers!

I don't think you mention your distro. The compilation instructions in the link you posted mention Debian specifically. Doesn't mean it's essential, just means you can install any dependencies as described verbatim.

The actual compile instructions look pretty straight forward. What have you tried, where have you failed?

OP, run the compilation, if you hit an error post a screenshot here (or copy the text to pastebin and send link here) - we'll help you.

99% you have some missing packages that are normally nor required unless you want to compile something from source
