I've recently started claiming the JSA and last week had to attend A&E so I got hit for the 100 euro admittance charge. I'm in the process of applying for a medical card but is there anything I can do or apply for to lessen the blow? Any advice appreciated.

If you sent in your application before your visit to the A&E your card (if you get one)will cover the cost.
