    List of applicable beers
    What ye think?

Not much there, the Weisenstephaner Vitus was the only one I ever bought and it's gone. Oh well, back to McHugh's or Lidl.

I'd go for the Young's Double Chocolate and the Proper Job.

They're the best of an average bunch. Tesco seem to be watering down this offer all the time. The choice of beers is getting smaller and the price per bottle has gone from €2 (5 for €10) to €2.20 (5 for €11) to €2.25 (4 for €9).

Yes notice their pricing is going north but still ok.

I actually thought they had a few news ones (well it was true for my local anyway) but yes the selection was much diminished.

Mariestads Export (Swedish or something) Okay
    Fullers IPA (Not tried Yet)
Adnams Sole Star Ale (2.6%) Like a real English pub ale.
Adnams Lighthouse 3.4% described as a Classic amber beer (Not tried Yet)
Adnams Southwold Bitter 4.1% (Again not tried Yet)

Also had some Affligem Blonde to but must admit I still prefer Leffe which I think has a deeper and broader taste spectrum (for me anyway)

Fullers IPA is OK, but not one of their best I think. Had an Old Masters (burton something ?) the other day and it was lovely.

This is between poor and average. Bengal Lancer is a lot nicer.

I've been looking at the selection in my local Tesco the past while since a friend alerted me to the offer. It's become disappointing. Some of the beers are OK but it'd be nice to see a greater rotation. I think they used to do Against The Grain as well which was always a treat.

I'd still go for the Whitewater Belfast Ale (the Lager maybe a tad too bland), the IPAs (true, Fuller's IPA isn't amazing and Fuller's make better beers than it), the Dunkel Weiss beer, Youngs Double Chocolate Stout.

If they have them in stock of course which is often a problem with interesting beers in many Tescos.

The Irish Ales in Aldi are still cheaper, and very tasty.

I don't think I've ever had it bottled, but it's great on draught.
