for 3 cut system, its a graze in the spring or/and backend
for 4/5 cut system there is much time to get in a grazing. Allot will depend on the amount of grass over wintered. Same as normal silage making from there on. Fertilise for off-take

    Bit off thread maybe...

What amount of fertilser (in P & K, and maybe Ph?) should be applied to ground to replace whats taken off in silage?
How do you work this out?

you wanna know for a 1, 2 or 3 cut system, tis all available in the interweb. the more even cuts the easier to work it out. If you are taking big heavy cuts of hay/silage then its allot harder. Rough figures will do or you can work it out accurately if you so wish aswell
