    Hi,

I'm not sure if this or the Accommodation forum is the best place for this question, but I'll try here first.

Is there any taxation implications of a child buying their parents house off of them at approximately 50% of market value. I would expect stamp duty will need to be paid on the market value, but is there an Benefit in Kind type taxation that could also be applied?

    Thanks
    N.

Oh I didn't realise such a question would be against the charter.

So given that, who would be the correct professional, it would be a solicitor right?

Just as a matter of interest, how is it against the charter?
