Firewire display adapter

    Is there any way I can connect a monitor to my laptop using the firewire port? I know firewire is way faster than VGA, but there must be something out there that I haven't found yet.

    The only ports I have free on my laptop are firewire and ethernet, since I have displays set up minidisplay port and USB. I saw an ethernet to VGA box on amazon, but it costs $1600!
