What's everyone doing for Rag Week? (although I don't think it's right to call it that since it's officially not a thing anymore) :D

I'm going to do a lot of cuddling and spooning, I'm going to enjoy it more so. Knowing that you'll be drinking your sorrows away.

I wont be enjoying myself because I'm not a scumbag

You can enjoy rag week without acting like a scumbag believe it or not!

The guards shut down coyotes at 1 oclock last night, hopefully not a sign of things to come.

I think many people would like to see it shut permanently!

Not my favourite place by a long shot but one of the only drinking establishments in Galway that doesn't rip everyone off.

If they did that, the coyotes regulars would be drinking elsewhere. *shudders*

I'll be putting on a lot of Factor 50 and trying to avoid meals where I have to use chopsticks.

What is it with drunk people and climbing lampposts?

I thought this **** was over with.

Love the craic as much as anyone, but how do people find some idiot climbing, or attempting to climb, a pole funny? Then the crowd sing some cringy soccer chant in the back round. :o

Pretty sure most drunken entertainment can be trivialised into sounding quite dull.

It's Supermacs at 3am not the Edinburgh Fringe festival.

Just saying there's a lot be said for some old-fashioned drunken banter, slagging, ****-talk rather than the ape-like behaviour we see in the video. Even after 10 cans I'd still find a pointless conversation more entertaining than acting like a loose animal. Must be too mature

Why not take your shirt off as well to look like a hard man

The sheer amount of abuse bouncers get astounds me. How they are not cold, bitter people at this stage is a mystery!

Why don't they shut it with the people inside? Then everybody would be happy.;)

Id heard it before alright...its just this week. Non stop with that, Ole Ole and that song from the darts...bit of variety lads! Far cry from last year with all the Celtic fans after the Barcelona match...now that was a singalong :pac: I'm just not cool with a city chant anyways, especially a really annoying city chant.

Or better yet shut Supermacs with the assortment of bell-ends from all the nightclubs.

Everyone knows Supermac's Eyre Square is hell's ****ter on weekend/holiday nights. I assume they're making money hand over fist or they just wouldn't open those hours, but at this stage surely everybody knows what to expect there?

They do. I'm sure plenty of the bouncers were looking forward to it for their own reasons.

Definitely. I'm sure many would love nothing better than a bit of overtime pay coupled with a chance to knock a bit of sense into some jumped up little prick that thinks he's a big man cos hes out.

Telling you, if i was a guard in eyre square in rag week, i'd be all too happy to batter a few of the little *****, they could do with learning a bit of manners

Paddy's Day parade is about the only chance of that.

Sounds like you are perfectly suited for the bouncer/Gardai "profession". What's stopping you? Four foot nothing?
