    Hi all,
It's probably the wrong place to post this but
I'm just wondering can someone shed a bit of light on this,I applied for an at home iOS adviser for apple last week I then received an invitation to complete an online video interview, just lookin to know is there anyone here who did one of these and what sort of questions should I be prepared to be asked(there's 16) ........interviews are not one of my strong points at all.

    1) What experience do you have with iOS devices?
    2) Have you any experience in similar fields?
    3) What made you apply for this position?
    4) Are you free thursday?
    5) Would you like to get coffee some other time, maybe?
    6) Why not?
    7) Don't you like me?
    8) You think I'm ugly, don't you?
    9) Why do you think you're so much better than me?
    10) Would it change your mind if I offered you money?
    11) Not even $200?
    12) What about a car? Do you want a car?
    13) Is there anything I can do to get into your pants?
    14) Are you recording this?
    15) You won't tell anyone will you?
    16) *sobbing*

The best you can do is tell us all that you know, and then we can point you in the right direction.

I did one of these video interviews once. Had to resist the urge to wear a suit jacket, shirt, tie, but at the end of the interview then stand up and show that on the bottom all I'm wearing is boxers.

A mate of mine did this, he didn't intend to show he was only wearing boxers from the waist down but after the interview he realised a poorly placed T.V. in the background was reflecting his entire body from behind.

I'm just so happy that you've asked for 'advice' and not 'advise' that I want to give you a hug.

Wait! Are you asking us to advise you, but have spelled it with a 'c'?

    GTFO.

Right, feckit, Ill give proper advice!

Ive done a fair few video interviews. Things you need to make sure of:
    • Enough light that you can be seen, and no bright lights behind you (unless you want to look like Jesus)
    • Make sure you are in a quiet environment – No dogs/babies/construction noise
    • Look directly at the camera, NOT the screen. Looking directly at the camera shows good eye contact and professionalism (can get a little weird at times)
    • Make sure you have a decent microphone
    • Make sure you have a very good internet connection
    • Dont wear patterned tops. They will look crazy on camera.
    • Compliment what you are wearing with your surroundings (if you are in a very dark room, don’t wear illuminous green tops!)

If they ask you 'What do you think of the Android OS?', this is a trick question.

Your answer is yes. Love the Android.

Or "While the Android OS has made strides recently to address a number of UI and functionality issues, it does have some catching up to do when compared critically to IoS" **Sucking noises**

I say go for the operation. If you're not happy with your gender, it only takes a couple of minutes, and a brand new person wakes up.

I think its safe to say I don't care about the OP, or have any knowledge of gender reassignment surgery. But its 5.18 am, and I'm wearing a suit. Therefore, I believe I'm the right candidate for the job.

Phone interview is easy. Worry about the email and text message interviews - you really need to watch your punctuation and spelling; one mistake and your finished.

Yeah, but now you have to go through the initiation process.

Have you ever seen the Stonecutters episode of the Simpsons? If not then I suggest you watch it immediately.

It's nothing like that, it's just a funny episode and I thought I'd give you something to laugh about before Apple assimilate you into the hive-mind and destroy your personality.
