There has been a few with 3 provinces. Eoin Reddan, Danny Riordan, Ian Keatley, James Downey, Tom Tierney, Cillian Willis, etc. But has anyone ever lined out at senior level for all 4 provinces?

not in the pro era no. Pretty sure it didn't happen before then either.

Point of order here, I don't think Ian Keatley ever actually played for Leinster.

Pretty sure the answer to the question is NO; presume it would have been even less likely in the amateur era.

Ronan McCormack represented three provinces properly i.e. 26 caps for Connacht, 37 for Ulster, and 49 for Leinster.

Alot of the other players who would have been three provinces didn't really play much for one or two of them.

Killian Keane? (scrum half from Skerries) played for Leinster, Munster and Connacht I think, not too sure but he could have had a stint up north too.

I thought he was a ten. Chris Keane is the scrum half from Skerries.

Did Killian Keane ever play for Leinster or Connacht though? I thought he was just a Munster inter pro

Chris Keane only played for Leinster and Connacht, don't think he played for Ulster.

I think Willis has the best chance of it. Munster need a 9 and he's looked good in recent years.

Killian was out-half then moved to centre when ROG/Everitt came along. Played for Skerries then went to UCD and I think went directly to Munster. His Dad a Kerryman. Was involved in UCD backs coaching up to recently.

Chris played Skerries went to college in Athlone and played for Buccs where he was picked up by Connacht before going to Leinster. Now player scrum half for Skerries and back in college.

Another Skerries guy to play for Connacht was Billy Mulcahy tho he did appear a few time fro Leinster initially , Was back in 90's.

More recently Alan O'Connor has been picked up by the Ulster Academy.

Skerries RFC providing players for the other provinces. Weird.

Last seen at Sale, that hellmouth of rugby careers. Buckley probably ate him.

If we're betting on who could get around all 4 provinces before theyre done, my money would be on Niall O'Connor

Bloody typical, I actually live near Skerries and I managed to get the two Keanes mixed up :o

If we sign O'Connor, I will literally dig out my boots and call up to the Leinster offices in UCD and ask them to let me train for a couple of weeks and would probably definitely almost certainly get selected ahead of him. 66% of the time, it would work EVERY time!

Less of the back seat modding - joke or no, people will take this kind of thing the wrong way.

Did Cronin ever actually play for Munster. He was offered a sub academy contract but turned it down to join Connacht iirc.

CAME on as a sub twice in the celtic/magners league 2007/08

nah he announced his retirement from rugby after 10/11 since he wasn't featuring for Connacht when fit and was haunted with injuries. Leinster picked him up during the RWC for a 3 month contract (when Boss and Redden were at RWC) and he got six starts.

Sale picked him up at the end of his contract with Leinster and he appeared 16 times during the rest of the season. He has had 11 appearances so far this season including three in the HEC.
