    Hey Guys,

Looking for a nice place to stay in Puerto Del Carmen in March, cheap and cheerful but nice place to stay for a week or two, plus somewhere close to the main strip and the beach....

    Any ideas???

You could try Atlantis Las Lomas. Very reasonable and very well kept. I stayed there last year, and the year before that. It's located at the top of cardiac hill so very close to the main strip. You'd be on the strip in about 2 mins from the front door. Also, it's very close to the old town (not even 10 mins walk to Biosfera - outdoor shopping centre at the start of the old town)

You may find cheaper places, but you won't find cheaper with this standard of accomodation. Check alpharooms.com (no association) for the best prices imo. Alpharooms will throw up a good search anyway of apts anyway.

i stayed here a few years back, expensive to stay in the hotel, but the apartments were good value

The best spot in Puerto del Carmen is between the old town for nice restaurants and the new town for a bit of craic.

If you're on a budget Costa Volcan is decent enough, basic accommodation but good location, no hills either. If you have a bit more to spend the Fariones hotel is hard to beat as someone else said.

Fariones is a great place to stay right on beach.
You will be spoilt for choice in terms of good , yet inexpensive, restaurants in the Old Town

    Have a great holiday,
