Indoor Graded Meet, AIT arena 23rd/24th February

    I've heard there's a graded meet next weekend at the new indoor track in athlone, but can't find any information about it anywhere.

    Does anyone have an event listing/timetable, and/or information about entries?

    Any help appreciated, thanks. :)

    5pm - Womens 200m A
    5pm - Mens Long Jump
    5.06pm - Womens B
    5.12pm - Mens A 200m
    5.18pm - Mens B 200m
    5.24pm - Mens C 200m
    5.30pm - Womens 400m
    5.38pm - Mens 400m
    5.46pm - Mens C 800m
    5.50pm - Mens B 800m
    5.58pm - Mens A 800m
    6.06pm - European Qualifying 800m MEN
    6.14pm - European Qualifying 800m WOMEN
    6.22pm - Womens B 800m
    6.40pm - 60m Men – QUALIFYING STANDARD RACE
    6.45pm - 60m Men
    6.50pm - 60m Men
    6.55pm - 60m Women – QUALIFYING STANDARD RACE
    7pm - Mens 1500m B
    7.10pm - Mens 1500m A
    7.20pm - MENS 60m RACE 2 Standard opportunity

    7:30pm - Womens Long Jump

    Looks like a tasty line-up. I'm worried I may be left eating dust in the 400 with only one grade, but sure them's the breaks.

    Just the mile and 800 so far. Coughlan 4.02.55 and Fitzsimmons 1.50.55

    Rose Anne Galligan (Newbridge AC) added her name to the list of qualifiers for the European indoor championships in Gothenburg next weekend when she clocked 2:03.39 to win the 800m at the Athlone IT graded meet last night. She took over the lead shortly after halfway and then withstood the challenge of Siobhan Eviston (Raheny Shamrock AC) who never gave up her challenge and was just outside the standard with a time of 2:03.67
