I'm confused about my rights to free travel - some folk tell me that I'm eligible because I'm unemployed. Others say I need to have child dependents .

Free travel is mainly for those on carers allowance, disability allowance, widowers, and pensioners. Just being unemployed doesn't make one eligible for free travel pass.
