No experience in this area, but on a trial basis you may just ask if you can, at your own risk go ahead and dive.

If diving goes really well, apply to Old Trafford, near Manchester. Always on the lookout...:P

I'd say one word may put a halt to any of your plans, that being, Insurance. I can't see any club taking the risk.

Also, a lot of man made water features on courses are built with safety in mind so you could wade through many of them (and they prob have someone collecting balls at present)

There is a few lads around the country doing this already, ex commercial diver and Navy, I believe they approach the clubs individually and strike a deal. They would have to work under their own insurance too.

I would say insurance could hinder that one cant imagine a club letting some lad dive in their water features without the proper insurance,

As for divers maybe Anfield would be the right place to go, a back up to Suarez maybe could even become his apprentice, learn from the master.

Even the Golf Forum turns into Liverpool vs Man United now :)

As a lot of clubs are struggling at present a few might be willing to let you dive if say you split it 50/50. You'd definitely need your own insurance though or at the very least to sign a disclaimer exempting them from any responsibility.

A friend of mine regularly goes down with goggles and a snorkel
But he has the permission of the Club Manager
Always comes back with more than a handful of prov1s
On one occasion i seem to remember him claiming to gather about 40 (big water feature on Par 3)
He pays for the pleasure tho - normally gives the Manager a few

So to answer the OP, prob get to do it for free.
    Just make an appropriate contribution.

Wasn't there a case in the UK a couple of years ago where a diver with club permission was diving for balls and selling them back to the club and privately. When the club realised how much money he was making though they then refused further permission and I think even tried to sue him for a portion of his previous earnings. Can't find any links to the story now though so no idea where if at all I came across it.
