How's your student going?

    Our guy is here 5 weeks at this stage. He is from the middle of Dublin and had no experience at all before he came. At this stage I would consider him one of the best we've ever had. He was actually afraid of cows when he arrived. He now helps at milking has calved a few cows one leg down and is quiet comfortable stomach tubing new calves although I did let him practice on Jersey bulls at first.
    His output is a little low but he still gets it all done

    He is doing Ag in CIT. We will have him for 15 weeks would love to keep him as really has potential

    nice time of year to get a good lad... how did u go about hosting students .. are u providing accomadtion etc..

    All students are out at the moment some are treated better than others
    We have been hosting for years
    Student last year and this did not need acc, but we can accommodate. It's not a requirement anymore, when we were doing it we had no cars all young lads have thwm today. We do not supply food as farm not near house but he has use of a room with kettle sandwich maker etc
