The irrelevance of Patsy McGarry and other like-minded Irish journos

Irish Times journos writing about their predictions for who'll be next Pope are laughable in their sheer irrelevancy; not to mention ignorance of those typing out the words. As if the Vatican give two ****s about what's written about the papal elections in a paper of broken record from the Western periphery of Europe. From a country that has spread sexual abuse across the planet like a disease.

Does PMcG think the College of Cardinals are going to give two hoots about his latest musings or on his views of heretic Fr Flannery and his band of merry followers?

The sooner this motley lot of trouble-makers consisting of journalists, liberal priests and new-age followers who like nothing more than basking in the media limelight are jettisoned; the better.

The next Pope will more than likely be a conservative European who'll maintain the hermenutic continuity of Benedict XVI. I hope and pray that the renegades will see the appointment of yet another "conservative" pontiff as the perfect opportunity to go join the Free Church of Ireland/Reformed "catholic" Church of Ireland/Cribbers and Moaners Anonymous/whatever takes their fancy.

Isn't it a pity the auld practice of burning at the stake was abolished!! You had a good rant going there until you started quoting the great philosopher himself Bertie Ahern.: "Cribbers and Moaners".
You probably don't even see the irony.

Burn at the stake?! If I had my way, Fr Flannery would have been ex-communicated a long time ago. That would send a clear message to the likes of PMcG and his readership.

Fr Flannery, by his actions, has set himself on the path to excommunication. I couldn't think of a more suitable fellow on which to bestow this award on. He'd love nothing more than to be able to hang a medal of excommunication around his neck so he could parade in front of the media as a new-age "martyr".

Mod note: Closing this as the post is little more than a rant. Take it elsewhere.
