Hello everyone,

Could someone please clarify whether Protein Supplements specifically (powders + drinks) are subject to VAT?
Following categories are subject to different VAT rates as per the Revenue website:

Food - Ergogenic Aids - 21% VAT
Food - Suppplements - 0% VAT
Protein - 0% VAT

Please kindly provide source for your answer (relevant VAT Act, etc).
