You have to be a big time road biker with a username like that ;)

My most direct route is 8.5 Km each way. When there is no snow (this is in Zurich) I go a longer way which is 15.5 Km. I could expand it further but having to be in work for 6am and then working 12 hours before heading back at 6, I find 15.5Km is enough.

I commute on a road bike. My MTB is full suspension and wouldn't be as good for riding to/from work over here. It would be good in other places though if I didn't work such long hours..

25k each way on road bike. I keep my mountain bikes for the mountains. The fitness from commuting pays off big time when I hit the trails.

the mountain bike suits me as i work as a security guard and the ground can be rough where i work.. i intend on buying a road bike very soon aswell.. the carerra road bikes that halfords sell have really caught my eye

My commute is about 52 - 60km+ return (depends on the return route taken) or 260 - 300km per week. Usually 5 days a week, unless I need to occasionally travel for work.

Just started cycling in Jan, 5k each way. Some of you guys have a huge commute. I just do it as it's faster than bus or even car

My commute started off at 20km return and only started back on my bike after Christmas but now I have started taking a longer route home in the evening and have it up to 25km round trip and will keep building on this as the weeks go on.;)

Get yourself a gps device, sign-up with Strava, and you can see for yourself what we're all doing, in near real-time...

For short journeys I use the android strava app. Its great for keeping yourself motivated and you can see how you do against others without being in a group.

34km return at least 2 days a week. Hopefully more in summer...
