Need to find out a girl's name

So I met a girl the other night and gave her my number. She wants to meet up tomorrow night.

Problem is I have no clue what her name is (drink was involved).

Any ideas on how I get her name from her without giving the game away?

A good trick is to dial a '5' after the 085/086/087 part of her number, then the rest of the number as usual , e.g. 087-5-XXXXXXX

This will dial straight through to her voicemail (it's not hacking or anything illegal) it will just allow you listen to her recorded message

Hopefully she has recorded a message which contains her name somewhere

Ask her how to spell her name, because you're not exactly sure how to and you care enough about stuff like that.

If you're unlucky and her name is quite easy to spell, she may still retain some affection for you like the melancholy love between a master and a stupid dog, or Jenny and Forrest Gump.

Not a problem, it's surprising how far you can go in a conversation without knowing someone's name.

I was once standing at a bus stop in town, and some girl wandered over and started talking to me. Clearly a friend of a friend, or some sort of acquaintance. We chatted away for a good 10 mins before the bus came. Gave her a hug and everything. Told her I'd see her soon. Still have no idea of who she was.

Go on a date with her. Tell her you love her name. It's your Mum's name. Was she named after someone. All will be revealed.

Call real confident sounding and say "Hello Sweet Thang"! It will make her smile, just keep calling her honey, sweetie, baby doll ~ she will love it and eventually you will find out her name.

You're not going to need her name anyway. That bit is out of the way. You'll meet up with her, go out, have a laugh and you'll not need to call her by her name at all. If you're really sneaky about it, say you got a replacement driving license this week and you're hoping you don't have to show it anywhere because of the state of you in it. She'll ask to see it, you tell her you'll only show it if she shows you the worst ID photo in her purse, et voila, you have her name without ever making it obvious or really awkward

My cousin took her sisters phone and changed a load of the contacts to harry potter characters...you could say something similar happened to you.

Something similar, I'd meet her with a friend, but dash off to the toilet just as they were doing introductions. Friend would have short conversation where he would get name and then tell you. Only works with trusted friend though.

Thanks for the idea, I'm in the US so used slydial which worked.
