Had the car at the nct in deansgrange at around 4, and parked outside the expensive tile flooring place opposite was a uk reg, hard top blue cobra. Just as I went out to take a pic it sped off, very loud v8 rumble off it. No plate on the front, and the partial plate I got was AC03RA. Just behind the front wheel arch was a badge with the shelby cobra insignia and the ford insignia.

To me it didn't look like a kit car, looked properly put together and very clean. Vintage cars not being my thing I'm not 100% on it. But it was either a 39grand kit car or a 250k+ cobra.

I very, very, very much doubt it was an original. ;)

I highly doubted it was an original, but it was an extremely good quality repro from what I saw. And must have had a v8 in it cause it rumbled like one.

That was the 2 things that made me think it could be real, engine noise and very clean and well looked after. Guess ill just have to hope some more to ever see a real one!

One passes my house in the summer when relatively dry. A black Cobra on zv plates, doubt it's a Shelby. When it's calm you can hear it from a few miles away

Belongs to a neighbour, a chap who owns an electrical store in the local town, he likes his cars :)

Was beside him on the m50 I reckon its the real deal. Certainly performed like one and looked fantastic. Beautiful roar from it. If there are kit cars this good, show me the way

    Lads, it's not. End of.

There's plenty of reps in the country with Ford or Chevy V8's though.

There was a Kit car version on wheeler dealers, they are meant to be a superb kit car, maybe the ones linked above.
But as MCMXXLV has said no way its a real one.
