A5 as a CC is still a passat at the end of the day. The q3 is an ugly enough lump. Then again, depends what you want it for eg kids, dog etc.
That said I'd imagine for the price of the a5 you could probably get a cc loaded to the max with toys..

The Q5 would be my choice from that list. Although you would probably get an S-Line 4x4 with S-Tronic transmission for the price of an entry level Q5. The Q3 though is just a little light, small and too much like an A3. At least the Q5 has an interior more like if not the same as an A4. The Passat CC is nice, but I'd still prefer the Q5.

Consider an A6, very well equipped and would be a better drive than the Q5 but similar price.

But the A6 and Q5 aren't on the list

Sorry ignore my previous post. Mistaken A5 for Q5 :)

So my choice then would be the A5

Yes mine too, but based on the list I don't think the OP meant the 2 door coupe.

A5 but it needs quattro option ticked as well as metallic and some upgraded wheels. S tronic is very nice too. Id say your looking at 55k there.

Hey thanks for replies. A6 is actually on list, but didn't mention it. I want to find a balance between the best car and the best 'toys' inside it, but not go too high, as BIK is a factor.

What's the list, also do you know which engine/spec you're being offered?

Which one do you like and why :)

what have you got now and what do you like/dislike about it?

Have to be the new CC. It's an absolutely stunning looking car and really stands out from the crowd.

The new A6 with the right set of wheels looks nothing short of an A8, really good, chunky looking car.

My choice would be between those two, and I'd be picking the CC as I wasn't paying for it.

I currently have a honda crv. I don't like it as it is too big and clunky. It's loud. The radio is poor and car kit is voice activatied and bothersome! It lacks pick up in the engine but the interior spec is good - leather, heated seats, and all seat adjustments are electric. This is convenient when you spend a lot of time in your car.
The list is good, and all engine sizes are on it. So basically it would encompass all of the above. What I want to do is to get a strong spec inside with a classy exterior. So going for a basic A5, without the nice bits inside won't work. I also don't want to get an excessive value car as I will only end up paying for it in BIK. So a fine balance. I don't want to go for the cheaper make, as in the VW ,and then regret it 12 months later, as this is a 4 year investment, so need to get it right. Sorry these are non technical and specific things I am looking for, so maybe hard to comment on. The car I woudl bench mark it againts is the 318D BMW engine. I woudl like similar performance to that. TIA

Are ye leasing it or buying it?

    leasing - company lease

    Which specific Models?

If it's a base 136 A5 SB against a well specced CC, then the CC. If it's a 177 S-Line A5 against an entry CC, then the A5.

I don't like the Q3, but if you've got a decent spec version on the list, and it's big enough for your needs then it may be a runner.
