An inca or caddy sdi or a non turbo Berlingo, partner or kangoo as long as you're not in a hurry.
Condition is everything, at that price level.

Speed not an issue, just looking for a robust day to day hack.
I'm selling my Scooby and have an avensis for weekend jaunts, I reckon Inca or caddy although loads of berlingo in that price range with test

Buy a Kangoo, get the older 1.9 non turbo, service it and do the belts. Drive on. Much underrated small van. I run three of them, would hop in and head for mexico if required without a worry. Nippier than a Bingo, cheaper than a caddy and more reliable than a combobox. I likes em.:)

Yea, I drove a berlingo for about a yr in a previous job and found them comfortable though slow.
What are they like on juice ? The kangoo that is? Only doing 250 miles a week .

At that budget id get a caddy/inca. It's the most reliable van of the lot.

Is a Scudo too big? They're not a bad yoke and nice enough place to sit imo in comparison to vans with car derived cabins :)

Nah not too big.. Perfect really... I have had performance road cars for years and tbh I'm tired of the upkeep on these Irish roads .
I'm purchasing a rally car this year and I intend using a van to pull the comp car about + get up and down to work ..are the fiat reliable?? 3 seats is a major + point

I always have 1 scudo/expert on the go. Have a Scudo at the mo. Good van, again if it's the older motor, the 1.9 either t or non t. Very(amazingly)good van to tow(I once towed a jeep with a trailer and 3t of scaffolding on it that had broken down. When we tied that lot to the back of the Expert, I was amongst those who said it'd never pull that lot-who knew, it did). Not too easy on juice though and somwhat lumbering, but sure nothings perfect.

Just to clarify the comp car will be a 205/106 gti so light enough.
Scudo is looking good at the mo!

If you find a 2.0HDI, grab it. Good motor. Scarce though:( Avoid the 1.6 like the plague - chocolate engine, no matter what anyone tells you. The older 1.9s are dull but worthy.
