    Hi

I hope get a driving licence and would like to know if it is feasible to pass the test with only during lessons from and instructor as I will not have a car to practice in.

If so how many lessons would this normally take and are there any driving instructors I am south Dublin that specialise in this?

    Thanks in advance

Yes it is possible. Everyone is different when it comes to learning to drive, you may be nervous or have poor observation skills or may be over confident which can be just as bad. You wont know until you get some lessons.

I passed in about 12 lessons and 2 pre test lessons, plus a few hours in my own car. I too didn't have access to car or someone to accompany me untill a few weeks before my first attempt at the test.

Not sure this will be possible now though OP what with the new regulations, regarding having a mentor and log book displaying progress, in addition to the minimal number of lessons with an RSA approved instructor.
