Derry/Letterkenny to Sligo

Thinking of doing this run tomorro. I was wondering As to the prevailing wind direction. Don't fancy it if its a head wind the whole way. And any good routes? Or any big climbs on the route?

Hi. Forecast tomorrow is for moderate breeze from south south east, 7-9M/s. Not sure if that is very strong but it will be against you. Big climb from letterkenny roundabout up Lurgybrack, bout a mile or so, but other than that moderate climb out of ballybofey up mcgrory's brae towards Lough Mourne and on to Barnesmore gap. A bit of short climbing to get to Grange and of Grange in Sligo. Sound easy doesn't it?:D personally, I would go via Strabane/Lifford to take Lurgybrack out of it!

Ahh yeah climbed Lurgybrack a few times. Is a wee bray alright.
Yeah I might go strabane/lifford. Seems like a nice run. Considering going through fermanagh. Would there be any big climbs on that run?

What about the other direction? Letterkenny to Glenveagh, around Muckish and back Creeslough way? (I know you're done now, but for next time? It'd be nice in the Summer)
