    Howdy all,

I'm having problems figuring out how to open the hub on the front wheel of a set of Reynolds Solitudes. It doesn't have any exterior bolt to twist, it doesn't have a anywhere for an Allen key to go, and it has no other marks to give a clue. There's a photo attached. It came with no strange tools for use with the wheel and I've misplaced the manuals. I cannot find any useful resources on the Reynolds website. Have a look anyway.

Try inserting the long end of a 4mm or 5mm allen key into the alxe...just to see if it engages something...Otherwise the axle is an interference fit, and will need to be drifted out of the hub...Try tapping it gently with a plastic hammer..

you will need a cir-clip pliers
for one of these on the outside of the hub

pretty easy if you have the tool. pm me if you need help, i have one.

@Karma Nope, not those. I have some pliers already, but there is no matching holes on the exterior hub. It's smooth all the way around.

Interference fit seems like my best bet, but there it hasn't popped out of place yet because of my efforts with the hammer.

    Anymore suggestions!?

Most info is quite rear-specific, but you might find some clues about the front. I think you have the KT (Reynolds rather than DT) hubs.
