applying for learner permit for towing trailer?

    Hi all,
    I have a full B licence with 10 years now and just going applying for trailer learner permit,
    I thought I just needed to send application form, photos, fee and driving licence, but just read on RSA website that I need eyesight report.

    Anyone have recent experience with this?

    I did my EB test last year. You need a provisional license, eyesight test and theory test before you can apply.

    Eyesight test is not required.

    Well they wouldn't give me my provisional EB license last year without it.

    I might just send off for it without the theory test or eyesight report, If its not sufficient they can return everything and let me know exactly what i need!

    even the RSA and citizens info sites can be misleading

    Defo need theory test but afair not the eyesight report.

    Depends whether you did eye test report and theory test originally for Cat B
    If you have then you won't need again.
