Security Issue on Runireland website.

    Hey guys, just wanted to draw you attention to the payment section when entering a race.

    There does not appear to be any security certificate present and it's likely that your credit/debit card information is being sent over plaintext.

    The page is not authenticated by Verisign, despite them stating that it is. Would avoid using this website until this issue has been fixed!

    That scroll bar that's in the middle of the screen, alongside the payment form, could be an indication that the payment form is actually loaded securely within an iframe?

    Would avoid until there is confirmation on this, not worth making that assumption IMO. You should be able to view the certifcate of any website which has a secure connection. I have sent them an email about this..

    It's encrypted .... check the frame info which redirects to activeglobal.com

    That's strange, when I click on the globe it tells me it's not encrypted:confused:

    That's because you're clicking on runireland.com
    The payment page is a frame from activeglobal.com , and that's encrypted
    If you run Google Chrome, right click the payment page and check frame info > that will show the info above

    Awesome, I see now that the frame is secure. Mods pleas remove this thread.
