Anyone seen this before? Time to get it to Cork!

Nighttime uphill race in Edinburgh in March.

Interesting... How long is Patricks Hill in Cork? The 170m track in Edinburgh seems a little short for my liking. I'd like to see racers suffer (even more!). I suppose you would have to go a few times though.

What are thoughts on the best equipment to have in a sprint hillclimb? The article mentions fixies as the way to go. Surely a well tuned geared solution would be preferable?

About 200m (give or take) from the MacCurtain St. junction

From Cycling Weekly a couple of months ago, 12lbs hillclimb tt bike
Note the drilled out saddle, cut handlebars and trimmed brake blocks :)
