Honda Accord Change Battery in Key

    Hi,
    Can anyone help want to change battery in 2004 Honda Accord key. I have the battery but someone mentioned that should I change it the key may need to be reprogrammed. Has any1 changed battery in 2004 Accord Diesel key b4 and if so did you need to reprogram it? If you did ho do you go about reprogramming. Any help much appreciated thanks

    If you have a new batt replac it within 10sec of removing the old one usually works...jot sure about coding iv never had to do it

    Don't think there's any issues with recoding if you're simply changing out the battery like this guy;

    The biggest issue seems to be the little screw.

    Also, typeaccord.co.uk is a great source of info on this sort of thing.
