Surround for Stove

I am replacing my open fire in the sitting room with a Stanley Cara Insert Stove, I have to remove my Timber fire surround and just don't know what to replace it with. Just can't seem to find a fireplace that I like.:) Any ideas ?

the trim is there to protect the plaster from excessive heat, but if you use fireproof plaster and do not heat the stove too much you can just insert it without any trim http://www.happystoves.co.uk/9_images/44_inset_stoves/stockton_inset/inset_stove_riva66_p_1.jpg which i think looks really good...

sorry, cant help you there. it was fitted for me and i wouldnt know that...

Looking for some advice whether to just put a mantle piece over the stone around the stove or Finnish it the whole way to the ceiling? Thanks

We did both with our fireplace. Although looking to put in a inset stove this summer so it will be a challenging one.
