I am looking to buy some fairly high quality tubulars. Just wondering if anyone can recommend some for sale at a decent price - online or locally. Would like not to pay more than 40 or so each.

Also, any recommendations for someone to fit them? Chees.

    Hi LeTape

These are good if butyl internals are ok. http://www.bike24.com/1.php?content=8;navigation=1;product=39079;page=1;menu=1000,4,22,35;mid=0;pgc=35:145;orderby=2.

I never had a tub fitted for me, but I would recommend trying the tufo gluing tape yourself - its easier than you think.

These are good value and great price. I use them and find them great bang for buck. There is a gatorskin version for a few euro more but I don't like gatorskins :)If money is not a problem then I would recommend these

Personally I wouldn't go to a tub with butyl, I think it takes away from the joy to run tubs. I would recommend this: http://www.bike-palast.com/en/Racebike/Tires/Tubulars/Vittoria-Corsa-EVO-CX-tubular-black.html only 5 euro extra and a really quality tire.

About the fitting, I have been using Tufo tape instead of glue, I know most of the gurus are against it for various reasons, but it has worked fine for me so far and it's very easy to install it by yourself.

There's a guy on adverts.ie selling brand new Hutchinson Carbon Comps for 40 a piece. You could probably offer lower and get them. They seem pretty delicate but they are race tires

Thanks for all the suggestions; there are so many German on-line retailers now you could spend forever checking them!

I had seen the sprinters too at that price and think they are a very good tyre but the delivery from Germany for two is a little off putting.

The Corsa CXs seem a very good option. I think they are for sale in ribble for about Stg31 at the moment - in limited sizes and colours so I might look again at what they have.
