Its an interesting one. I wonder will it reduce competition therefore fares will rise on some routes I would imagine.

Hopefully it wont have any effect on either Airlines operations into Dublin. Not a huge fan of either Airline as the aircraft that I have been on, the overall product has been lacking. No personal IFE etc.
Hopefully it pushes the quality of aircraft up but I wouldnt be too hopeful.

This I think makes AA/US the biggest carrier USA-Ire? Although they don't currently compete on any routes, so probably no notable fare hikes. Perhaps they'll even compete more stiffly with EI and UA?
