    Little help with this problem.

Since Tuesday evening, Sky Atlantic has gone very "pixely".

Its generally worse when there is a lot of motion on screen, but is somewhat watchable.

The +1 channel is perfect as are all my other regular channels, so hence I have moved my recordings to the +1 channel.

Any idea what might be wrong or if I can do anything to solve this?

Not sure if this questions makes sense, but what other channels would be on the same transponder, so that I can check if they are affected? I don't have a movies or sports subscription

I have a Sky HD Box, with an SD Subscription, and an 8 year old SD TV. It was installed less than a year ago.

Sky Arts 2, Sky Sports News, Comedy Central Extra, FOX +1, Eurosport 2 are on the same transponder as Sky Atlantic

I have noticed this with a lot of SD channels on Sky. Are there too many on the same transponder or have sky lowered the bit rates in the hope of people taking out a HD subscription?

Got home tonight and all seems well with the picture. I will keep an eye on this

I noticed the same pixellation on Sky Atlantic (also on its plus one hour version). It came on suddenly around Tuesday but it seems to have sorted itself out today.
I wonder if it had anything to do with the launch of the +1 hour channel?
