Potential Upgrade

    Hey guys,

If you'll remember i recently bought a system from you (Monitor Audio Vector's 5.1 and Onkyo txnr414) and overall I'm really happy with the system. I'm rediscovering films and games all over again!

I was wondering though, if I were to upgrade the two front speakers from the current vectors to the Monitor Audio BX2's so that I could run music through them only (and possibly the sub?) would I be right to presume I'd get great music performance. (Either stereo or 2.1).

Also, if i were to upgrade how would the BX2's integrate with the rest of the system (timbre matching wise) for 5.1 movie/games?

    THanks in advance. Mnms

    Hi Mnms,

    Thanks for getting in touch.

The BX2s would be a great choice for fronts.  The Vector V10s aren't bad at all but for music you'll notice a massive difference with the BX2s.

As in matching the speakers for sound quality they would be grand together.  Matching for finish would be a bit off as the BX2s are black oak finish.  If this isn't a massive conern then I'd say go for it as the BX2s truely are a great speaker.

Finish not important, black oak will look fine. What's the best price you can do on the bx2's with delivery to Athlone?

    Thanks

    Hi again,

Thanks for getting back to me :)

I can offer the BX2s inc del for £242.94.

I've just checked and I've got the black oak finish in stock and ready to go.

    Hi again,

The Euro price is €299.92 :)

No problem at all.  We generally always have BX2s in stock so just let us know when you're ready.

Any other queries just let me know.
