I think I has PCOS but it is proving impossible to get any treatment from the HSE.
We have been waiting for years to get to see a specialist any nothing.

    Any advice?

Id go to your GP and tell them your suspicions, They should reFare you to a gyne or Endocrinologist for testing.
I have PCOS myself can I ask you why you think you have it?

    Hi JackieBurke,
I have PCOS. You should go to your GP and talk to him and ask him to get blood tests done to check for PCOS. Either at the same time or when the bloodwork comes back, (depending on what the doctor says), asks him/her to send a referral letter into a hospital to get an ultrasound done on the ovaries. The hospital will then get back to your GP with the results.
