No motivation

The title is pretty straight forward I guess. I am currently out of college this semester and I am supposed to be sorting out a work placement for myself as part of my degree.

So my life seems is very plain and boring at the minute. My day usually consists of going to the gym and staying on the computer most of the day. I really want a change in my life right now, but at the same time I am afraid of change.

I do go out with friends the odd time but its mainly going out and getting locked. I feel I am doing the same things over and over everyday, even driving the same roads! It's really getting me down right now! Any advice would be appreciated!

PS I suffer with anxiety and depression and I think it is part of the problem as well. I am currently seeing a councilor at the minute which is helping, but again I don't even have motivation to book my next appointment.

    1) Make the appointment a weekly scheduled thing (if possible). It'll give a good routine to it, and mean you have to actively cancel it if you don't feel like going.
If money is an issue, I'd suggest seeking a free alternate, they can (but not always) be good too

    2) You're supposed to find the placement yourself? Do the college not assist/have a placement department?

    3) Going to the gym is a great thing to keep up just for the endorphins alone.

    4) The routine, that can be tough. How about making some un work related personal goals? Learning a language with duolingo.com or running a 5km charity marathon?
