iphone & gmail calendar, lost entries

    Hi all
I have iphone 4 running ios 6.1 - I use gmail and sync my calendar. All worked great for months/years and suddenly my historical events and calendar entries have disappeared from my phone. Current ones are there and continue to sync. I haven't changed any settings and I'm guessing the problem started around ios6 time. Anyone else had similar issue? Is there a fix?

    Cheers
    SUMO

Are the calendar dates etc still in your Gmail account?

Check preferences in iCal and in Gmail Calendar - especially as regards old events and sync periods.

Thanks for the reply. What's iCal ? I checked sync settings on my phone and its set to sync all events :
    Settings/mail,contacts,calendars

iCal is the Apple calendar on the Mac that syncs when you sync an iPhone .... I mistakenly thought you had one but now I see you don't :)

Have you turned off your iPhone and on again ? (hold Home+Sleep/wake button until it shuts off and then starts to restart with the apple logo)
