last time I had labatts ice, the capitol cinema was open.
I think I picked it up in bradleys way back then.

I think it disappeared of the shelves about the sage time as Hudson blue ice cider

From Wikipedia: "The ice beers are typically known for their high alcohol-to-dollar ratio. In some areas, a substantial number of ice beer products are considered to often be bought by "street drunks", and are prohibited for sale."

Just thought that was funny as I'd never heard of ice beer.

I think InBev used to distribute it here. It disappeared when they pulled out of Ireland a few years ago.

Yep, C&C bought out InBev's beer division in Ireland around 2009. They discontinued Labatt Ice in favour of promoting InBev's premium brands such as Tennents and Stella.

God I can remember Labbatts Ice and Fosters Ice being the "in beers" during the mid 90's

Tennents, the worst selling beer I've ever seen. We have to keep full availability of all available stock at work, this stuff keeps going out of date. We can't give the stuff away.

Yep, it's the same case where I work. You couldn't give the stuff away.
