    Hey,

Thinking of playing the open Comp in Rathsallagh this weekend, anyone play it recently? What condition is it in? I haven't played it before so looking forward to it as it looks like a good course.

Might see you up there, hoping to get out myself with a few mates. Rathsallagh is a lovely course imo. Hilly in places, especially down the first and the tenth and back up the 9th and 18th, but not too strenuous either. The par 3's are really nice especially the 7th and it's a very fair course without being a pushover.

You can expect it to be a little wet in places. but tee boxes, fairways and greens have always been in good shape anytime I've played. Enjoy!

Played it about this time last year and it was in good nick, usually well kept anyway. As for the course itself it is one of my favourite courses. Some hills as monty says but they really add to it. On a fine day the view from the 10th tee is great, big downhill drive. Well worth playing. If it wasn't Valentines weekend I would be heading down myself.
