Buying second hand iphone

Anyone have any experience of buying a refurbished or second hand iphone from amazon? How risky is it? Otherwise would it be better to buy off done deal/adverts.ie? or again is it the luck of the draw Any help really appreciated

I've got 2 off of "Limetropic" seller on ebay the past 2/3 months.

Both iPhone 4's in excellent condition.
